Josiah was an eight year old boy who led his nation and lived as a model of discipline and purity, thereby being an role model for young people today. Josiah House is a community outreach that seeks to help and challenge young minds, so they can be molded into the leaders of tomorrow.
Josiah House Ministry focuses on reaching and training the leaders of tomorrow. We offer a safe haven for those who may not feel comfortable coming into a traditional religious setting. We do not discriminate based upon financial, social or religious status. We rather welcome diversity so that we can:
1. Be in a position were we are not ignorant of the challenges that face at-risk children at large.
2. Reach all with the message of Christ’s Love and Hope.
3. Train youths to be independent, positive thinkers, thereby allowing some immunity from the pressure so many are give into.
4. Use biblical leadership principles used by some of the world’s greatest leaders to train unlikely leaders to become great leaders of tomorrow.
5. To provide an outlet for children, youth and young adults in communities where no social, recreational or purposeful extra-curricular outlets exist.
6. To provide accountability for children & youth that may otherwise be susceptible to the many dangers that children in third world nations fall prey to.
Josiah House meets tri –weekly offering, inspirational outreach services, life application Bible and purity classes, fellowship for single young adults and dance classes for children and youth. All leaders are trained volunteers motivated to lead, communicate and be sensitive to the needs of all backgrounds of children. Our outreach is attended by 80-90% of all youth in the community/village ranging from street children to the children of the local government rulers. At Josiah House children/youth and young adults unite to be trained to maximize their potential as the young biblical ruler Josiah did, to impact their nation, their generation and the generations to come, and to be spiritually enlightened while enjoying the process.
